As of Wednesday 13th May, we are no longer required to 'stay home'. We are allowed to leave home as much as we like but we must 'stay alert' and maintain social distancing. Government clarification of the new rule is that we can meet non-household people, one person at a time, as long as it is outdoors.
Unfortunately, it means that the Hermits premises must remain CLOSED for table tennis.
During the summer and winter leagues, Monday to Thursday evenings are used for league matches, so there are no organised evening sessions on those days.
The cost for non-members is £2.50 per session when refreshments are provided, and £2.00 when there are no refreshments.
Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 12 noon (weekly) suspended while a coronavirus risk
Public session for those who just enjoy playing table tennis, and is mostly attended by non-league players, although several league players often join in. Doubles (4 player) games and singles (2 player) games.
Refreshments at 11 a.m.
Fridays 7 p.m. until the last ones leave (weekly)
Mostly attended by league players, but all are welcome, and coaching is available. This is a good session for anyone who wants to have a look at the club, with the possibility of joining in mind.
Club members can practise and play at any time without the need for an organised session.
